Dedication Ceremony for the St. Scholastica Mashburn Foundation Library Collection

On Thursday, January 14, the University of Arkansas held a dedication ceremony for the St. Scholastica Mashburn Foundation Library Collection. The sisters donated 3,500 records, 1,000 scores and pieces of sheet music, and 600 children’s music books and music education journals to the Barbara Mashburn Scholarship Foundation. Because the Foundation had no place to store the music, it was donated to the Mullins Library at University of Arkansas—Fayetteville, where it will be housed in the Performing Arts and Special Collections sections.
