Employee Recognition Dinner

The sisters love their employees, and the feeling is mutual. On St. Patrick's Day, employees and their guests came to dinner at the monastery--and the sisters rolled out the green carpet in their honor, with entertainment by a strolling flautist and a Viennese table with ten different kinds of desserts. The sisters presented plaques to employees who had completed 25 years of service--Gene Blackwell, Ed Elkins, and David Prejean (Hesychia); 20 years--Bill Carroll; and 5 years--Mary Ellen Dunlap and Carmen Torres.
