A Culture of Vocations: The House of Discernment

Culture. What is it? It is most easily defined by considering the verb "to cultivate"—"to prepare or loosen the ground or break up the soil about growing plants, or to foster the growth of, or to acquire a skill. To improve by labor, care or study. To make society or to make friends. To win the favor of someone. To apply oneself to improving or developing one’s manners."

With all the right sizing and reconfiguring of religious life today we are experiencing some of our own right-sizing and reconfiguring here at St. Scholastica. We have been blessed with three omen who are seeking their call from God to become members of our community.
