Indulge yourself in the gift of a weekend apart. Savor the joys of solitude. Soak yourself in silence. We'll use silence, song, poetry, guided writing prompts, symbol, sharing and ritual to support us as we explore the call and response of the soul's mystical path. Give yourself over to the renewal your soul seeks. You will be refreshed. You will be encouraged. You will meet new companions of the way. You will greet your soul's essence. As we bask in the spirit of Divine Love, we will uncover how to live this path wholeheartedly. No longer parted from our better selves, we will return to the hurrying world restored, dedicated. Cost: $195.00. A $50.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required at time of registration. Lodging and meals are included. Deadline for registration is October 29, 2016.
This day of quiet reflection will focus on the beautiful Advent O Antiphons. In these ancient prayers of longing we express a desire for the coming of the Messiah. The liturgical readings for Advent are filled with themes of waiting in joyful hope for a Savior. As Christmas draws closer the urgency of our longing increases until finally our liturgy is blessed with the O Antiphons. These prayers are cries from the heart that Christ, this time, be born in us. And so we pray, O come, Wisdom from on High, Adonai, God of Strength, Come, O Root of Jesse, Key of David, Radiant Dawn, Ruler of the earth, O Emmanuel, Come! Come to this day of Advent Renewal. The One Who is to come, Emmanuel, awaits you. Cost: $50.00. A $25.00 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required at time of registration. Lunch is included. Deadline for registration is November 18, 2016.
