The Heaven Before Us
Presenter: Paula D'Arcy
Scripture points to here.  Now.  This.  To heaven as a new way of seeing the very life we're living right now.  So much opens up when we begin to see the kind of relationship we might have with the earth, with others...the way we might live and love.  Come and explore what it means to see the heaven before us, and ask what might change for all of us, if we began to recognize the many ways God comes disguised as our lives.  View the tri-fold brochure in pdf format.

Drinking from the Life-Giving Waters of God
A five-day silent retreat
Presenter: Sr. Macrina Wiederkehr, OSB
Lectio Divina is an ancient way of praying the Word of God: breathing in the Word, careful reflection of the Word, abiding with the Word.  Experience being drawn into the life-giving stream of God's Word as you allow this prayerful practice to transform you.  You will keep company with God in the scriptures, through creation and with your life experiences.  Themes will be drawn both from Sr. Macrina's book, The Song of the Seed, and from her Romancing the Word Little Rock Scripture Study columns.

Soul Writing
Presenter: Sr. Macrina Wiederkehr, OSB
Deep in the ground of your being, underneath your words, beneath your confusions, hopes, dreams and questions, there is a well of silence waiting for you.  In this retreat you will be invited to enter that sacred silent space, draw forth words to enrich your life and enhance the creative being you are.  You need not consider yourself "a writer" to participate.  Your willingness to enter the deep places of your life and to listen with your soul are enough.

This I Believe Retreat
Presenter: Jay McDaniel, PhD.
This workshop will focus on a kind of Christian thinking called Process Theology which offers a unique understanding of God as a reality who is "in process" along with the world.  God invites and encourages people to be open to change and embraces each living being with a tender care.  Process Theology is an option for Christians of many persuasions, for people who are "spiritual but not religious" and for those who belong to other faiths.  Emphasis will be on openness to ideas and open discussion. Advent Day of Recollection
Presenter: Fr. Tom Elliot
Advent is a special time for spiritual preparation.  A time when God prepares our hearts in an extraordinary way for the Christ-child, much like parents prepare their home before bringing home a newborn.  The day of recollection will give us an opportunity to learn more about the spiritual home of our hearts and give us time to prayerfully begin preparing for the newborn Savior!
