12-10-08 - Verified and updated links sitewide. Created "Prayer Schedule" to be different from the Liturgy Schedule we already have. Finished Obituaries section and cleaned up code on templates. Site-wide color template changes.
12-09-08 - Finished Member Directory, except for pictures, which have not been provided yet. Added links to the menu. Created Obituaries page and links along with pictures.
12-08-08 - Created rudimentary copy of the member directory. Manually entered all code for the page, very time consuming. Created Social Justice page and design. Created Advisory Boards page in a very basic layout, but it still lacks content.
11-25-08 - Re-created forms as per website discussion. Form now has a drop-down box for selecting who the recipient will be. Modified heading to say "A Community of Benedictine Sisters" in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Set up Previous and Next buttons in lightbox scripts to be visible all the time. Changed menu headings and sections to reflect the discussed changes at the meeting. Added content to the Charism and Mission statement page. Added information to the Oblate page. Created Daily Mass readings page. Modified CSS designs for overall efficiency.
11-21-08 - Website Meeting. Finalized menu system, assigned content tasks, and discussed possible layout changes.
11-19-08 - Created Photo album section. Set up conversion for our photos to easily translate over to webpages. Ran conversion for about 10 albums to create web pages for them.
11-18-08 - Minor adjustments to CSS and code on the website. Set up a Feedburner account for passing RSS news to the site. Set up calendar to feed sessions to pull calendar information to our RSS stream.
11-13-08 - Created page for Hesychia House, set up lightbox scripts for website, created a list of website portions to divide and work on. Set up retreats page with calendars for upcoming retreats and upcoming events. Shared calendar so multiple people can work on it. Cleaned up Liturgy schedule page. Added retreat registration form.
11-12-08 - Set up forms for site manager, retreats, and gift shop queries. The forms will allow website users to email us without exposing sensitive information. Added the liturgy schedule, charism statement, and a page for contact information. Installed PHP scripts for forms.
11-10-08 - Added Gift Shop link, Ways to Help link (with Paypal donation), driving directions (from google maps), and the Site Updates page. Added pages to go with all the links. So far pretty easy using template for the website and inserting data from the old site that has already been cleaned up.
11-04-08 - Improvements to site. Redesigned layout to make it work with IE and firefox. Now the site looks correct in both browsers.
11-06-08 - Built Gift Shop site. Gift Shop site is for selling products, designed an ecommerce site with functional paypal buttons and emails.
11-07-08 - Work done on Gift Shop site. Added some products, tested user management, modified template design. Site is now fully functional.
10-31-08 - New site development is documented! We have a layout for the new website, along with the index page. We have developed a calendar for upcoming events and a marquee for past events.
