Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Retreat at Monastery

Parishioners from Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Spiro, Oklahoma attended a Youth Retreat led by Oblate Deacon John Burns at the monastery on March 14, 2026. They spent the morning learning more about their Catholic faith and growing in their faith. Afterward, they attended daily prayer with the Sisters in the chapel. 

The monastery continues to provide facilities and access to the peace and nature of the grounds to retreatants from local parishes. The Sisters enjoy sharing their time of prayer in the chapel with retreatants and are often asked to speak about the wisdom and benefits of the Benedictine way of life. Retreats on the monastery grounds extend Benedictine hospitality and help others find the peace of the monastic life in their own daily lives.
